Bastinado

Bastinado, also known as foot whipping or Falanga/Falaka, is a practice in the BDSM community where the soles of a person's feet are subjected to whipping and beating, in most cases using a crop, whip, or cane. In addition, the submissive/slave's feet are tied up and exposed. It is a form of foot fetish which traces its roots to Middle Eastern and Far Eastern torture practices. The sole of a person's foot is lined with nerve endings. It is very sensitive to pleasure and pain. A light whip can be felt throughout the entire body.
